Keyword Research: 
Spy Fu Review.... Formerly known as Googspy, Spy Fu is another web-based keyword research tool. Not much new here from other "keyword spy" tools. They show the normal costs per click, clicks per day for PPC campaigns. They also show you search volumes and competing advertisors.
You can use Spy Fu for free but the real benefits only come with the paid versions and they don't come cheap. However, once you are a paid member there is a wealth of keyword information at your finger tips. We like the graphs and the ad history. We recommend getting the US/UK spy fu version, it is a bit more expensive but you will want the UK information as well. You can order a premium customized list based on your niche but we have not done this yet so we can't say how well it works.

Ease
of Use: 
We actually like the Spy Fu interface but we found a few flaws that concerned us. The first thing we noticed is that it takes a while for you to actually get a list of keywords. Spy Fu groups everything by domain names, ad groups, etc. which is really cool but until you actually figure out the layout it can take quite some time to get a true keyword list. One of the problems we noticed that made the initial list hard to find is that Spy Fu put's the advertising sponsors above the fold directly above the actual keyword list that you want to see. Being a internet marketer ourselves we can appreciate this but when you are selling a keyword tool, we think the results should take priority over the ads.
The interface is also not good at providing search results for long tail keywords, which in our business is the most important info we are looking for. We tried several long tail keywords and Spy Fu returned no results found. Customer Support :
Spy Fu customer support is pretty good. We like the fact that they have actual support hours and a dedicated phone number to help you. They also offer a full "how to" Manual and 16 training videos. A spy fu forum is also available.
